Josephine Sittenfeld's photographs & short films have been published in a variety of publications. Her coming-of-age documentary about a young man with autism filmed over a 12-year span, Growing Up Ethan, ran as a New York Times Op-Doc and toured the country for two years as part of the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery “The Outwin 2022: American Portraiture Today” traveling exhibition. A graduate of Princeton University and RISD, Jo lives with her husband, photographer Thad Russell, and children in Providence, RI.
