Josephine Sittenfeld's photographs & short films have been published in a variety of publications. Her coming-of-age documentary about a young man with autism filmed over a 12-year span, Growing Up Ethan, ran as a New York Times Op-Doc and is now touring the country as part of the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery “The Outwin 2022: American Portraiture Today” traveling exhibition through September 2024. A graduate of Princeton University and RISD, Jo lives with her husband, photographer Thad Russell, and children in Providence, RI.
